About Hansar
Hansar was founded by Lynsey McMenemy in 2021 as she felt that there was a genuine gap in the mortgage market to provide a truly bespoke level of mortgage service coupled with 7 star advice. Before launching Hansar Lynsey has built a stellar background in the property industry ranging from estate agency, property portals, lettings and originally started her career back in 2001 working for Scotland’s largest mortgage broker at the time. “Due to having experience in a variety of different roles within property I feel that I am best placed to advise and offer an all round level of service that differentiates what we offer at Hansar to the rest. Buying a property is likely to be your biggest ever purchase and my aim is to find you the best deals available but deliver my advice in a warm and friendly manner”.
Lynsey has worked hard to build up an enviable list of close contacts in the industry which has allowed her to handpick the best suppliers ranging from property sourcers, estate agents, lettings companies and solicitors to provide you a one stop shop for your house buying journey.

Lynsey has a passion for all things property and in her spare time Lynsey likes to spend any spare moment hitting the gym and has previously completed the Edinburgh Marathon. She is a Mum to 3 adorable children (one son & twin girls) who keep her busy at the best of times whilst not running her business and lives in Newington with them and her husband.
